Yesterday I upgraded my Ubuntu OS to the latest version 10.04 and found it impressive again.
As I was too busy with work couldn't find time to explore much.
Today when I checked new thunderbird email client properly I became a bit disappointed again to see that lightning add on was still not working..
So I decided to search for it with google search and whoa !! found the 64 bit version of lightning add on for thunderbird in first shot.
Here is the link you may wish to visit and downlaod the add on for your 64bit thunderbird.
Just make sure that you install all the xpi file one by one which are inside the directory.

I first installed calendar-timezones.xpi then gdata-provider.xpi then lightning.xpi.
Restarted the thunderbird and done ..
It just works ..
